The CalFresh benefit has delivered all SNAP payments in February. Therefore, it is time to learn about the March paydays for Food Stamps in California. Depending on your family size you may receive from up to $292 to the maximum for 8, $1,756.

Average CalFresh payments may be lower though. Still, it will be a financial relief even if you do not qualify for the full amount. CalFresh payment schedule for SNAP recipients in California

The United States Department of Agriculture has confirmed that there will be 10 different paydays in Califonia in March. To know when your SNAP payments are coming, check your case number. if it ends in 1, your CalFresh will be on your EBT card on March 1, 2025.

  • Case number ending in: 1 = CalFresh/SNAP benefits available on March 1st, 2025
  • Case number ending in: 2 = Food Stamps available on the 2nd
  • Case number ending in: 3 = Food Stamps available on the 3rd
  • Case number ending in: 4 = Food Stamps available on the 4th
  • Case number ending in: 5 = Food Stamps available on the 5th
  • Case number ending in: 6 = Food Stamps available on the 6th
  • Case number ending in: 7 = Food Stamps available on the 7th
  • Case number ending in: 8 = Food Stamps available on the 8th
  • Case number ending in: 9 = Food Stamps available on the 9th
  • Case number ending in: 0 = Food Stamps available on the 10th

How to apply for CalFresh/SNAP

The Department of Social Services in California claims that you can apply for CalFresh (SNAP) online. All you will need to do is visit their website at: https://www.getcalfresh.org/?source=cdss.

Good news because it will only take you ten minutes to apply for Food Stamps in California. If you are not fluent in English, you can also apply in Spanish. Some families may not have internet access.

If you prefer, you can call the CalFresh Benefits Helpline at 1-877-847-3663. Remember that SNAP or CalFresh are for people with a low income who cannot afford to buy groceries. Meeting all income and work requirements is essential though.
