SSDI payments may soon be in your bank account if eligible for Social Security

SSDI payments may soon be in your bank account if eligible for Social Security

SSDI is the Social Security Disability Insurance benefit in the United States. Millions of Americans receive disability payments from the Administration every year. However, some have already collected their check or direct deposit in February.

Bear in mind that if you receive any of the 2 previous payments this month, you will not be eligible for any of the remaining SSDI payments. For instance, those on SSI simultaneously do not qualify for the last 2 paydays. Those on Disability Insurance benefits before May 1997 do not qualify either.

SSDI payment due on February 19

The Social Security Administration has confirmed that there will be a payment on the 19th. To receive this money, you must have been born from the 11th to the 20th.

Therefore, if you were born before that date, your next payment will be on March 12, 2025. Those who were born after the 20th will receive their check or direct deposit later this month, but not this one.

On average, SSDI recipients will get about $1,580.67 in February. Although amounts could be higher or lower, some may get a similar payment amount when they receive this Social Security check or deposit.

SSDI payment scheduled for February 26

The Administration has confirmed that there will be one last payday for SSDI on February 26, 2025. Were you born from the 20th to the 31st? If so, your next Disability Insurance payment will be delivered on the 26th.

Obviously, as long as you did not receive SSDI on February 3, 12, or 19. Those on SSI do not qualify for the Feb. 26 payment either. For your information, SSI recipients will get their March 1 payment on February 28.

The average payment for SSDI on the 26th will also be $1,580.67. However, if you were a high earner for over 34 years, you may get up to $4,018 in February 2025. It is true that few workers can get so much money since their disability prevented them from working for so many years.
