Senate Bill Would End Certain Copays for Veterans Affairs Beneficiaries

The United States Department of Agriculture, USDA, has confirmed that the States of Mississippi, Minnesota, Maryland, Arkansas, and Alabama will not issue SNAP payments until March 4, 2025. Families of 4 can get up to $975 in any of these States.

Puerto Rico will also start delivering Food Stamps on March 4, 2025. Mississippi will send SNAP benefits through March 21 and paydays will be based on recipients’ case number. For example, if it ends in 00-04, you will receive them on March 4, 2025. The last payday will be for those whose case number ends in 95-99 on March 21st.

SNAP benefits in Minnesota and Maryland

The State of Minnesota will send SNAP payments through March 13 only. Therefore, there will be fewer paydays than in Mississippi. To get benefits on March 4, your case number must end in 4. If it ends in 5, you will receive Food Stamps on March 5.

It goes on following the same pattern. However, on March 10, your case number must end in 0. The logical order goes on again on March 11, you must have a case number ending in 1.

Maryland will also have a lot of paydays since Food Stamps will arrive through March 23, 2025. This State uses a more difficult pattern, so it is not so predictable as the previous one. To get SNAP benefits on March 4, the first letter of your last name must be between AAA and BAO.

SNAP payment in Arkansas and Alabama

If you live in Alabama, it will depend on the case number you have whether you get money early or later in the month. Those recipients whose case number is 00-04 will get Food Stamps on March 4.

To get SNAP benefits on March 15, your case number must end in 55-59. The last payday in Alabama will be on March 23 if your case number ends in 95-99.

The State of Arkansas bases SNAP paydays on your Social Security Number. For example, if it ends in 0 or 1, your payments will be on your EBT card on March 4. Families of 4 are not the only ones to get payments, other households will receive payments from USDA.
