The Supplemental Security Income benefits will deliver all the SSI payments on February 28, 2025. This is an exception because this Federal program generally issues payments on the first day of the month.

Therefore, the normal payday should have been March 1, 2025. To avoid any delays the Social Security Administration never issues or schedules payments on non-business days. Remember that March 1 will be Saturday. It would have been the same if it had been a Sunday or a Federal holiday.

SSI payment worth $762

If you are between the ages of 18 and 64, $762 is the average payment for that age group. On the one hand, this group of Supplemental Security Income recipients gets more than those aged 65 or older on average.

Seniors aged 65 or older get $590 on average. Hence, there is a considerable difference between $762 and $590. It is $172 higher which is about $2,064 in a whole year.

On the other hand, if you are under 18, your SSI payment will be much higher than the one 18-64-year-olds receive from the Federal Government. If you are under 18 you can get $834 on average.

Full amounts for SSI on Feb. 28

Many recipients do not qualify for the full SSI amount because they have resources, other earnings or benefits. Thus, they get a reduction from Social Security for that reason.

For your information, the Supplemental Security Income program can pay up to $1,450. This happens when two people are married and both qualify for the full amount.

An individual, however, can only receive $967 from the Federal Government. Apart from married couples and individuals, there is another group of SSI recipients in the United States.

Take into account that you could also benefit from the Supplemental Security program if you are an essential person. The only downside is that their monthly payment is the lowest of the three. An essential person can only get $484.
