The Social Security Administration (SSA) has confirmed the SSDI payment on February 12, 2025. On average, a worker with a disability on this disability benefit receives about $1,580. Of course, it could be more or less money depending on your work history.

What is more, a spouse of a worker with a disability on SSDI can receive about $431 on average. If your children qualify for Disability Insurance benefits too, on average, they can get about $509. In total, all the family members receiving benefits could get about $2,520 on average.

Which families can receive SSDI on February 12?

The February 12 payment will be for those Social Security Disability Insurance recipients who meet the birthday requirement. Therefore, you must have been born from the 1st to the 10th.

For your information, if you began collecting SSDI payments before May 1997, you are not eligible for the payment on the 12th. Those who are also on the Supplemental Security Income program do not qualify either.

As for the maximum amounts, SSDI recipients can get payments of up to $4,018. To get such a large payment, you must have worked for 35 years in jobs covered by SSA and with earnings equal to or higher than the taxable maximum. Filing at a specific age is also required.

Which families will receive SSDI from February 19-28?

Do not worry if your payment is not due this week. There are two different paydays that the Social Security Administration has set so far after the 12th. In the first place, it could arrive on February 19.

The February 19 disability benefit will be yours if you are an eligible recipient whose birth date is from the 11th to the 20th. Finally, there will be another payday on February 26, 2025.

The SSDI payment on the 26 will be for those whose birthday is from the 21st to the 31st. As for the average amounts, they will also be about $2,520 for the whole family if they all qualify.
