SNAP amounts in mid and late-February payments
The maximum amounts will continue unchanged through September 30, 2025. Thus, the maximum SNAP benefit in the 48 contiguous States will be $292 for an individual.
A household with 2 members in the 48 contiguous States can receive up to $536. If you are three, it can be up to $768. Families with 4, 5, or 6 members can receive up to $975, 1,158, or $1,390 respectively.
Of course, there can be larger families in the United States. If you are 7, you will get up to $1,536. An 8-member family can receive up to $1,756. Are you 9 people living in your household? Then, USDA can give $220 extra for each additional member.
SNAP payments are only for low-income Americans, so if you start working or receive money from any source of income you must report it to avoid overpayments.
