SSDI payments left in March 2025 on Social Security's schedule

SSDI recipients who were born from the 1st to the 10th of any month may have received their Social Security payment on March 12, 2025. Of course, as long as they are not receiving SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and if they got benefits after April 30, 1997.

The maximum SSDI benefit payment for those who were a high earner for 35 years or more is worth up to $4,018. This will be only for a few Americans workers on the Social Security Disability Insurance program. Bear in mind that having a disability can prevent you from working and meeting SSA’s conditions.

No SSDI on March 12? Check upcoming payment dates

The Social Security’s payment schedule confirmed 2 more paydays in March. Therefore, millions of Americans can still receive money from the Administration from Disability Insurance or from retirement benefits.

Some SSDI recipients will not get their monthly payment until March 19, 2025. Social Security arranges the last two paydays following the birthday pattern. So, if you were born from the 11th to the 20th, the 19th will be when you get your money.

The final SSDI payment in March will be due on the 26th. As you may have guessed, to receive it, you must have been born from the 21st to the 31st, regardless of the month.

SSDI average payments in March unconfirmed

Although the average monthly payment for SSDI recipients has not yet been confirmed, it will be very similar to the given amount for January 2025. As of January 2025, the average Disability Insurance payment for workers with a disability is worth $1,580.

If compared to the average amount for the same period in 2025, retirees get almost $400 more on average. In fact, retirees receive about $1,978 as of January 2025.

What is more, a family on SSDI can receive more money if the spouse and children qualify for Social Security too. The average payment amount for spouses of workers with a disability is $431. Children of workers with a disability receive about $510 on average.
