SNAP benefits are not over in Texas. Many States have already delivered all Food Stamps to eligible recipients’ EBT cards. For example, if your household certified before June 1, 2020, and your Eligibility Determination Group number ends in 7, you will receive benefits on March 12.

If it ends in 6, check your EBT card because they are due on March 11, 2025. The other two possible paydays in Texas if you certified before June 1, 2020, are March 13 and March 15. Of course, your EDG number must end in 8 to get money on the 13th or 9 to get it on March 15.

SNAP in Texas- certified after June 1, 2020

Here are all the possible payment dates in Texas if you started collecting SNAP benefits after June 1, 2020. Check it carefully because there are different EDG numbers that could qualify for the same payday.

  • EDG ending in: 00-03, 54-57 = SNAP benefits will be sent on March 16th
  • EDG ending in: 04-06, 58-60 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 17th
  • EDG ending in: 07-10, 61-64 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 18th
  • EDG ending in: 11-13, 65-67 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 19th
  • EDG ending in: 14-17, 68-71 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 20th
  • EDG ending in: 18-20, 72-74 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 21st
  • EDG ending in: 21-24, 75-78 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 22nd
  • EDG ending in: 25-27, 79-81 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 23rd
  • EDG ending in: 28-31, 82-85 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 24th
  • EDG ending in: 32-34, 86-88 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 25th
  • EDG ending in: 35-38, 89-92 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 26th
  • EDG ending in: 39-41, 46-49, 93-95 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 27th
  • EDG ending in: 42-45, 50-53, 96-99 = Food Stamps will be sent on the 28th

SNAP payment amounts in Texas

The maximum SNAP payment amount in Texas is $292 for a single person. However, if you are 2 people living in the same household, you could receive more money.

SNAP can pay up to $536 if you are 2 people. Families of 3 can receive up to $768. A 4-member family can get up to $975 from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

Are you 5 in your family in Texas? Then, the maximum payment amount will be $1,158. Six-member families can receive up to $1,390. 7 or 8 could be the highest SNAP payments, $1,536 and $1,756 respectively.
