More than 51 million Americans receive Social Security retirement benefits. Part of them will collect their check or direct deposit tomorrow. However, you will not be eligible if you qualified for the February 3, 2025, payment.

Therefore, it will be for those who started collecting Social Security after April 30, 1997, and who are not receiving Supplemental Security Income. But wait because there is also one additional requirement.

Social Security payment if born on this days

The Administration’s payment schedule states that to get the check or deposit on February 19, 2025, you must have been born from the 11th to the 20th. If you were born from 1-10 or from 21-31 you are not eligible.

Those born from the 1st to the 10th will receive Social Security on March 12, 2025. If born from the 21st to the 31st, the two upcoming payments will take place on February 26 and March 26, 2025.

If you started collecting Social Security before May 1997, the Agency will issue your monthly payment on March 3, 2025. If you are receiving retirement and SSI benefits your payday will also be March 3, 2025.

Social Security checks worth $1,978

This will be the average retirement benefit payment as of January 2025. Consequently, it is just an idea of what retirees may receive. Some seniors may get larger payments from SSA.

For example, if you were a high earner for 35 years, you could receive a payment of up to $5,108. This is possible when you work for 35 years in jobs covered by SSA, file at 70 and earned the taxable maximum all those years. Maximum benefits by filing age:

  • at 62: up to $2,831
  • at Full Retirement Age: $4,018
  • at 70: $5,108

Some retirees may qualify for much smaller payments. Nevertheless, they can get a supplement from the Federal Government if they qualify for Supplemental Security Income. Applying for USDA and FNS’ SNAP is another great way to fight food insecurity in the United States.
