SNAP payments for Food Stamp recipients in early March

This is the full list of States that will be delivering SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits through March 10 only. According to USDA’s payment schedule, there is a total of 9 States that have their deadline to pay Food Stamps on the 10th.

In alphabetical order, the first one is California. Recipients living in CA will need to check their case number to know when their benefits are due. For example, to get money on March 4 or March, your case number must end in 4 or 5 respectively. If it ends in 0, you will get it on the 10th. So, it follows a logical order. Colorado uses SSN. To get Food Stamps on March 4, your SSN must end in 4.

SNAP in Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, & Kansas

In Idaho, SNAP recipients will get their money depending on the last digit of their birth year ends. If it ends in 4 or 5, your will receive Food Stamps in March 4 or 5 respectively. If you got benefits after Oct. 23, 2017 in Illinois, this State uses the last digit of the head household ID number.

Iowa will deliver SNAP benefits using the first letter of your last name. If it is H or I, you get money on March 4. Those with J, K or L will get it on March 5. Kansas uses the first letter of your last name.

  • First Letter of your Last Name is: E, F, or G = Food Stamps due on your 3rd
  • First Letter of your Last Name is: H, I, or J = Food Stamps due on your 4th
  • First Letter of your Last Name is: K or L = Food Stamps due on your 5th
  • First Letter of your Last Name is: M = Food Stamps due on your 6th
  • First Letter of your Last Name is: N, O, P, Q, or R = Food Stamps due on your 7th
  • First Letter of your Last Name is: S = Food Stamps due on your 8th
  • First Letter of your Last Name is: T, U, or V = Food Stamps due on your 9th
  • First Letter of your Last Name is: W, X, Y, or Z = Food Stamps due on your 10th

SNAP benefits in Nevada, Oklahoma, & South Carolina

The State of Nevada will deliver Food Stamps uses the last digit of the household’s birth year number. If the last digit of your birth year ends in 4, you get SNAP benefits on March 4 and so on.

To get Food Stamps in Oklahoma, your case number must end in 4-6 to get it on March 5, 2025. If it ends in 7-9, you will get them on March 10, 2025. Last, but not least, South Carolina.

SNAP recipients in South Carolina whose case number ends in 4, will receive Food Stamps on March 4, 2025. As for the amounts, an individual can get up to $292, said USDA. According to the CBPP, an individual can receive about $199 on average, while a family of four can receive about $726 (and up to $975).
