SNAP payments will be up to $292 for individuals and up to $1,756 if there are 8 members in the same household in February 2025. Although these are the maximum amounts in the 48 contiguous States, average checks can be a great amount too.

According to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, the average SNAP benefit for a family of 4 is $726. If you are single, it could be about 199 dollars on average. An 8-member family can receive about $1,317 on average. Thus, it is a great deal of money for those who have a low income and find it difficult to make ends meet.
