While the State of Georgia and Indiana start issuing SNAP payments on April 5, others will send the last Food Stamps on the 5th. For example, if you live in Hawaii, there are just two possible paydays. Either you receive your money on your EBT (Electronic Benefits Transfer) card on April 3, or you get it on April 5, 2025.

Hawaii arranges paydays using the first letter of your last name. Those SNAP recipients whose first letter of their last name is A-I will receive benefits on April 3. However, if the first letter of your last name is J-Z, your Food Stamps will be ready on April 5, 2025.

SNAP payments in Nebraska & New Jersey

These two States will also deliver the last Food Stamps on April 5, 2025. Nevertheless, they arrange paydays differently. If you live in Nebraska and you are a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipient, check your SSN.

SSN stands for your Social Security Number in the United States. Hence, if your Social Security Number ends in 0 or 9, you will receive SNAP benefits in Nebraska on April 5, 2025.

New Jersey, like other States, uses the SNAP case number to arrange the payment schedule for April. Those Food Stamp recipients whose case number’s 7th digit matches the schedule will get their money soon. If it ends in 0 or 9, your benefits will be on your EBT card on April 5, 2025.

SNAP payments in New Hampshire

New Hampshire only has a single payday. Since all the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients collect the payment on the same day, there is no difficulty in knowing when your EBT card will be reloaded.

When it comes to payment amounts, SNAP recipients can get up to $292 in the 48 contiguous States. That includes Nebraska, New Jersey, and New Hampshire. Nevertheless, it does not include Hawaii.

Since inflation and the Cost of Living are higher in Hawaii, USDA issues higher maximum amounts in this State. Only SNAP recipients in Alaska get more money than recipients in Hawaii. A single person in Hawaii can get up to $517 on April 5, 2025.
