SNAP Benefits: When Are You Getting Your Food Stamps Depending on Your State

Currently, there are updated SNAP maximum amounts after the October 1, 2024, COLA increase. Actually, it will not be until October 1, 2025, when Food Stamp recipients get their Cost-of-Living Adjustment.

The maximum SNAP payment is $1,756 for 8 members in the 48 contiguous States. However, you could receive a lot more if you live in one of these two States and you qualify for the full Food Stamp amount.

USDA has confirmed that the largest SNAP payment will be delivered in Alaska. Nevertheless, not all Food Stamp recipients in Alaska can receive the largest benefits to buy nutritious food in the United States.

If you live in areas designated as Rural 1 or Rural 2 it can be up to $481 or $586 for 1 person. If you are 8 it can be $2,265, $2,888, and $3,516 respectively.

The other State that will issue the largest SNAP payments in the United States will be Hawaii. In March, you could get up to:

1: $517
2: $948
3: $1,357
4: $1,723
