SNAP benefits will continue arriving to eligible recipients in Alabama through March 23. This State uses the Food Stamp case number to arrange payday. For example, if your case number ends in 95-99, you will receive your money on your EBT card on the 23rd.
Not all SNAP recipients in Alabama will get the full amount. On average, an individual can get about $199 claims the CBPP. Thus, only those who get no reductions will be able to get $292. Families of 2 can get up to $536. These maximum amounts are the same in the District of Columbia and the 48 contiguous States.
Other States issuing SNAP benefits through March 23
Delaware also has March 23 as the final payday this month. However, this State uses the first letter of your last name to arrange payment dates. Those whose first letter of their last name is X, Y and Z will receive SNAP on March 23, 2025.
Also Georgia will be delivering Food Stamps through the 23rd. Check if your ID number ends in 90-99 because SNAP benefits will be sent to those recipients only on the 23rd.
To know who can receive SNAP benefits on March 23 in Indiana, check the first letter of your last name. It must be W, X, Y, or Z. Bear in mind that TANF benefits are issued on the first of the month in Indiana.
SNAP payments in Louisiana and Maryland
SNAP payments are based on your Social Security Number if you live in Louisiana. Only those Food Stamp recipients whose SSN ends in 9 can get their monthly payment to buy groceries on March 23, 2025.
Maryland uses a similar system to the one in Indiana and Delaware. However, Maryland uses the first three letters of the recipient’s last name. To get Food Stamps on March 23 the first three letters of your last name must be:
