The amount of your SSDI check depends on your earnings and work history. Therefore, your disability payment could be the same, lower, or higher than average.
When will Social Security deliver the last SSDI payments?
The date for the last Disability Insurance payment in February will be the 26th. Those born from the 21st to the 31st will collect their Disability Insurance on time but it will be the last check for this benefit in February.
Other SSDI recipients will have to wait until March 3 to get their next Disability Insurance check. If you qualified for the February 12 payment, Social Security will deliver the next check on March 12.
The next 2 paydays for those born from the 11th to the 20th will be on February 19 and March 19. Surprisingly, the day of the payday does not change like it often does.
Who can receive SSDI payments on February 26th?
To receive SSDI payments on February 26, apart from being eligible for the payday, you must:
- have a qualifying disability
- remain eligible
- not be on SSI benefits
- have collected payments after April 30, 1997, not before
