SSDI payments are usually issued on the third day of the month, or the second, third, and fourth Wednesday. Since this week goes from the 26th through the 1st, there cannot be any Social Security payments in the United States.

To receive your next Social Security Disability Insurance payment, you may need to wait until February 3, 12, 19, or 26. Bear in mind that the Administration has only issued a monthly payment this week, which is Federally funded, for SSI recipients.

SSDI payment on the 3rd

Right after this week, the first SSDI payment will be disbursed on February 3, 2025. Keep in mind that you could receive it if you began collecting Disability Insurance before May 1997.

Also, this could be your payday if you received the Supplemental Security Income on January 31, 2025. Then, there will be 3 rounds of Wednesday payments for eligible disability recipients.

For example, if you did not qualify for the payment on the third, the main requirement to get SSDI on February 12 will be your birth date. Those born from the 1st to 10th will get Social Security on the 12th.

The Social Security Administration will also pay checks and direct deposits on February 19 or 26. Only one payday is possible per recipient. So, to get money from SSA on the 19th, your birthday must fall on the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th.

The final payday for SSDI will be on February 26. Disability Insurance recipients who were born after the 20th will receive their check or direct deposit on the fourth Wednesday in February.

As for the SSDI payment amounts in February, checks can be up to:

  • $4,018 if you meet all the requirements

Average payments for SSDI can be about:

  • $1,580 for workers with a disability
  • $431 for spouses of workers with a disability
  • $508 for children of workers with a disability
