Some Americans may have already collected their monthly SNAP payment. For example, States like Alaska, Vermont, Rhode Island and North Dakota issued all the Food Stamps on the very first day in December. However, there are millions of eligible recipients who have not received any money on their Electronic Benefits Transfer cards.

Remember that you can only qualify for one of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program paydays in your State. Depending on where you live there can be a different way to qualify. Some States use your case number, others your Eligibility Determination Group number, your Social Security number and many other options.

The highest payments that are to be sent in December will be in Hawaii (up to $3,102) and Guam (up to $2,588). They have a higher inflation so the cost of living adjustment has made their Food Stamps much higher.

The largest benefit payment for a family of 4 will be $975. Only 2 dollars higher than in 2024. A family of 8 can receive from the SNAP program up to $1,756, up from 1,751.
