The first SSDI payment will be delivered on March 3, 2025. This will be your next payday if you are on Social Security and started collecting disability insurance payments before May 1997.

Wait, because you could also get this monthly payment if you have a low income and you are also receiving Supplemental Security Income. Thus, you must receive SSI on February 28 and the SSDI on March 3, 2025.

Full SSDI payment schedule for March

Here are all the possible payments for SSDI recipients next month:

  • March 3: If on SSI and SSDI simultaneously
  • March 3: on Disability Insurance before May 1997
  • March 12: if your birthday falls from 1-10
  • March 19: if your birthday falls from 11-20
  • March 26: if your birthday falls from 21-31

For your information, these paydays will be the same for those citizens eligible for RSDI (Retirement, Survivor and Disability Insurance) benefits. The average amounts for RSDI differ from one benefit to another.

SSDI payment amounts for March 2025

The maximum amount an SSDI recipient can collect is $4,018 in 2025. This will be unlikely since you must have worked for 35 years in jobs covered by SSA and it is necessary to have earned the taxable maximum for all this time.

On average SSDI beneficiaries can get $1,580. It is a more realistic amount, although some recipients get a lot less from the Administration. If your payment is too low, you may also be eligible for SSI.

For example, SSI can provide Americans with a supplement worth $714 on average. Qualifying for the maximum Supplemental Security Income amount allows you to get $967.

All the March payments for Disability Insurance are expected on time. If you do not receive your Disability Insurance check after three mailing days, contact the Social Security office. If you think your check has been lost, missing, or stolen, you can also report it. Contact your bank first before you call SSA to see if they had an issue when processing your payment.
