Check if your State is delivering SNAP benefits on February 5 or before that date, Food Stamps will be on time so no delays are expected

SNAP benefits will be delivered from February 5 onward in 2 States, Indiana and Georgia. It will depend on the first letter of your last name (in Indiana) and on your ID number (in Georgia).

For your information, each State administers paydays in a different way. Even if SNAP is a Federal program, USDA and the Food and Nutrition Service allow them to arrange paydays and administer applications.

SNAP paydays in Indiana:

USDA announced that there will be a total of 10 payment dates in Indiana. Food Stamps will be on your EBT card from February 5 through February 23.

  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: A or B = SNAP benefits available on February 5
  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: C or D = Food Stamps available on the 7th
  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: E, F, or G = Food Stamps available on the 9th
  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: H or I = Food Stamps available on the11th
  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: J, K, or L = Food Stamps available on the 13th
  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: M or N = Food Stamps available on the 15th
  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: O, P, Q, or R = Food Stamps available on
    the17th
  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: S = Food Stamps available on the 19th
  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: T, U, or V = Food Stamps available on the 21st
  • 1st Letter of your Last Name is letter: W, X, Y, or Z = Food Stamps available on the
    23rd

SNAP payment dates in Georgia

In a similar way, SNAP benefits will be delivered from February 5 through February 23 too. Check if your ID last two digits are 00-09 to get your money on your EBT card on February 5, 2025.

  • ID number ends in: 10-19 = SNAP benefits available on February 7
  • ID number ends in: 20-29 = benefits available on February 9
  • ID number ends in: 30-39 = benefits available on February 11
  • ID number ends in: 40-49 = benefits available on February 13
  • ID number ends in: 50-59 = benefits available on February 15
  • ID number ends in: 60-69 = benefits available on February 17
  • ID number ends in: 70-79 = benefits available on February 19
  • ID number ends in: 80-89 = benefits available on February 21
  • ID number ends in: 90-99 = benefits available on February 23

As for the maximum amount you could get from SNAP in Indiana and Georgia, it will depend on your household size. For example, a family of 2 can receive up to $536. Families of 4 up to $975 and if you are 8 up to $1,756.
