However, the average payment for<strong> widow(er)s aged 50<\/strong> is $1,439.12.<\/p>\n<h2>Social Security payment dates for widow(er)s<\/h2>\n<p>The Agency has confirmed the upcoming payments for<strong> Social Security<\/strong> recipients. April will bring three more payments. Thus, if you did not get the monthly payment on April 3, 2025, your <strong>direct deposit<\/strong> will be issued on <strong>April 9, 16 and 23<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In order to receive the <strong>direct deposit or check<\/strong> on April 9, you must have been born from the 1st to the 10th. The month you were born is not relevant as long as you filed and got SSA&#8217;s approval.<\/p>\n<p><strong>April 16<\/strong> will be the payday for recipients who were born after the 10th but before the 21st. So, is your birth date from 11-20? Then, your <strong>payment<\/strong> will be available on the 16th.<\/p>\n<h2>Social Security payment amounts in April<\/h2>\n<p>So far, the only amounts that have been described are for widow(er)s. If their average payment is <strong>$1,316.11<\/strong>, they receive less money than what an average <strong>retirement benefit<\/strong> is worth.<\/p>\n<p>Retirees get an average payment worth <strong>$1,980<\/strong>. Therefore, there is a big difference between these 2 amounts. SSDI recipients get about $1,580 on average. So, it is also higher for disability recipients.<\/p>\n<p>However, if it is compared to the average amount for <strong>survivor widowed mothers and fathers<\/strong>, it is very similar.
