Luckily, it is not a joke and more than 7 million recipients will benefit from this Federal program. <strong>Social Security&#8217;s<\/strong> payment schedule confirmed it.<\/p>\n<h2>SSI payment amounts on April Fool&#8217;s Day<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>maximum<\/strong> amount an <strong>SSI<\/strong> recipient can get is $967 stated Social Security. On average, Supplemental Security payments are worth $715. Still, if you need financial support this average amount is great.<\/p>\n<p>Only eligible married couples who get no reductions can get up to <strong>$1,450 in 2025<\/strong>. These are the maximum amounts for <strong>Supplemental Security Income<\/strong> after the <strong>2025 Social Security COLA increase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s monthly <strong>payments<\/strong> are 2.5% higher than <strong>April Fool&#8217;s Day<\/strong> payments in 2024. The lowest maximum amount for this Federal program is for essential persons who can get up to $484.<\/p>\n<h2>Social Security payments after April Fool&#8217;s Day<\/h2>\n<p>If you are receiving <strong>SSI payments<\/strong> and <strong>Social Security direct deposit<\/strong> or checks, there is good news. <strong>SSI<\/strong> will be delivered on <strong>April Fool&#8217;s Day\u00a0<\/strong>and retirement or disability insurance benefits on April 3, 2025. April 3 is also the payday for recipients who got retirement benefits before May 1997.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, you can receive 2 different monthly payments in less than 72 hours. Those <strong>Social Security<\/strong> recipients who are not on <strong>SSI<\/strong> and who began collecting benefits after April 30, 1997, can get payments on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The 9th: if you were born from the 1st to the 10th<\/li>\n<li>The 16th: if you were born from the 11th to the 20th<\/li>\n<li>The 23rd: if you were born from the 21st to the 31st<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While<strong> SSI payments<\/strong> are worth<strong> $715<\/strong> on average, <strong>Social Security<\/strong> recipients get about $1,980.
