This is the<strong> Social Security Disability Insurance<\/strong> program and it is only for those who got <strong>SSA<\/strong> approval and remain eligible.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, having a qualifying <strong>disability<\/strong> that meets the strict definition given by <strong>SSA<\/strong> is a must. Not to mention the fact that you must have paid payroll taxes before you can even start receiving <strong>SSDI benefits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Are you eligible for SSDI on April 3, 2025?<\/h2>\n<p>One of the two ways to receive the <strong>Social Security Disability Insurance<\/strong> payment is to have started collecting <strong>benefits<\/strong> before May 1997. Hence, you must have been on benefits for over 28 years so far.<\/p>\n<p>An easier way to qualify and the only one for those who have recently filed for <strong>SSDI<\/strong> is to be receiving <strong>Supplemental Security Income<\/strong> in the United States. So, you get SSI on April 3, 2025, and Social Security on April 3, 2025.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SSDI<\/strong> beneficiaries who are not on <strong>SSI<\/strong> and who have begun getting <strong>Social Security<\/strong> after April 30, 1997, need to wait for <strong>checks<\/strong> or direct deposit on the following Wednesdays:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>April 9: born 1-10<\/li>\n<li>April 16: birthday 11-20<\/li>\n<li>April 23: birth date from 21-31<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Were you are high earner and you get SSDI now?<\/h2>\n<p>In fact, to get<strong> $4,018<\/strong> from the Social Security <strong>Disability Insurance<\/strong>, you must have been a really high earners for a few decades. Generally, you must have worked for 35 years in jobs covered by <strong>SSA.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you meet that requirement, you must have also earned the taxable maximum (contribution and benefit base) for 35 years too. The age you file also matters, since early filing reduces your<strong> SSDI payment.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Social Security<\/strong> pays about <strong>$1,580<\/strong> on average to SSDI recipients.
