On average, retirees get more money than in January.<\/p>\n<p>For your information, retirees received from the <strong>Social Security Administration<\/strong> about $1,978 on average. After the new Monthly Statistical Snapshot, retirees get about <strong>$1,980<\/strong> on average. Even if it is just two dollars higher on average, it means new recipients are getting more money.<\/p>\n<h2>RSDI Average amounts for Social Security Disability Insurance and Survivor benefits<\/h2>\n<p><strong>SSDI payments<\/strong> are about<strong> $1,580<\/strong> on average. Therefore, there has been no change if compared to the January 2025 average amounts. It has just gone up a few cents.<\/p>\n<p>The new average amount for spouses of workers on <strong>SSDI<\/strong> is $433, which has slightly gone up. Their children can get about $510 from the <strong>Social Security Administration.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last but not least, <strong>survivor<\/strong> beneficiaries can get about <strong>$1,547<\/strong> on average. This amount has gone up by just one dollar. Other average amounts for survivors are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Children of deceased workers: $1,136.27<\/li>\n<li>Widowed mothers and fathers: $1,304.62<\/li>\n<li>Nondisabled widow(er)s: $1,837.16<\/li>\n<li>Disabled widow(er)s: $951.67<\/li>\n<li>Parents of deceased workers: $1,687.22<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Social Security April&#8217;s RSDI Payment Schedule<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Social Security payments<\/strong> will start on April 3, 2025. SSA claims that the direct deposit or check on April 3 will be yours if you received RSDI (Retirement, Survivor, Disability Insurance) benefits before May 1997.<\/p>\n<p>Or if you are currently receiving <strong>Supplemental Security Income<\/strong> and Social Security benefits simultaneously. So, you will receive RSDI payments on April 3, 2025, and SSI on April 1, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Those Social Security recipients who started collecting <strong>RSDI<\/strong> after April 30, 1997, and who are not on <strong>SSI<\/strong> will receive 1 of the 3 Wednesday payments in the <strong>United States.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For example, if you were born from 1-10, your payday will be due on April 9. Those <strong>Social Security<\/strong> recipients whose birthdays are from 11-20 will get a monthly payment on April 16, 2025.
