Social Security generally sends Supplemental Security payments on the first day of the month unless it falls on the weekend or on a Federal holiday.<\/p>\n<h2>SSI to be deposited on May 30, 2025<\/h2>\n<p>June 1, 2025, will be Sunday so the<strong> Social Security Administration<\/strong> has had to reschedule it for the previous business day. As a consequence, all <strong>SSI<\/strong> recipients who remain eligible will collect their Supplemental Security Income payment <strong>2 days before<\/strong> the normal payday.<\/p>\n<p>Since <strong>Social Security&#8217;s payment schedule<\/strong> unveiled that there will be a payment on <strong>May 1 for SSI<\/strong> recipients, they will get to deposits that month. Still, all recipients must keep that payment for their June expenses.<\/p>\n<p>It will not be until August 2025 that the Social Security Administration will have to issue two <strong>payments<\/strong> during the same month for the same reason. So <strong>SSI deposits<\/strong> will be delivered on August 1 and August 29, 2025.<\/p>\n<h2>SSI maximum amounts for May deposits<\/h2>\n<p>The maximum amounts for <strong>Supplemental Security Income<\/strong> recipients will be the same all year round. An individual, after the<strong> 2025 Cost-of-Living Adjustment<\/strong> increase, can get up to $967.<\/p>\n<p>In 2024, the maximum amount was $943. So the <strong>May 2025<\/strong> payments will be 24 dollars higher than the SSI payment for May 2024. Some households may get up to $1,450 if they are married and both qualify for this Federal benefit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Supplemental Security Income payments<\/strong> are also for essential persons. As a matter of fact, they can collect up to $484. The average amount is <strong>$714<\/strong> for all recipients.
