The maximum SSI payment<\/strong> for an individual is $967 in 2025. After a boost of just 2.2%, the new payment amount for Supplemental Security Income would be about $988 in 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If you are an eligible married couple on SSI<\/strong>, the maximum benefit for 2 is $1,450 in 2025. After a 2.2% boost,<\/strong> it would be $1,481 in 2026. Thus, an individual could receive about 21 dollars extra and couples about $31 extra per month.<\/p>\n
