This is a monthly <strong>payment<\/strong> for low-income citizens who have a <strong>disability<\/strong>, are <strong>blind<\/strong> or seniors who are at least<strong> 65 years old<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These <strong>payments<\/strong> are usually delivered on the first day of the month. However, there are sometimes changes if the payday falls on a Federal holiday or on the weekend (Saturday &amp; Sunday).<\/p>\n<h2>SSI due on April 1, 2025<\/h2>\n<p>According to the <strong>Social Security Administration<\/strong>&#8216;s payment schedule, the next <strong>Supplemental Security Income<\/strong> payment will be sent on April 1, 2025. Unlike the January and February <strong>payments<\/strong> which were issued on the previous business day because the first of the month was either a holiday or the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>For your information, all eligible <strong>SSI<\/strong> recipients will get money on April 1, 2025. Therefore, this will be the only possible payday for this Federal program. Only those who do not remain eligible will not receive this <strong>direct deposit or check.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are on both <strong>SSI and Social Security,<\/strong> you will get the Federal payment on April 1 and Social Security retirement or SSDI benefits on<strong> April 3.<\/strong> So, after receiving the Supplemental Security Income, you will get another payment 2 days later if eligible.<\/p>\n<h2>SSI payment amounts<\/h2>\n<p>The amount of your <strong>Supplemental Security Income payment<\/strong> will depend on your personal situation. It will not be the same to have no earnings at all than being on retirement or <strong>SSDI payments<\/strong> simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>Bear in mind that those <strong>aged 65<\/strong> or older have an average payment worth <strong>$590<\/strong>. If you are under 18, the average payment for your age group is much higher, $834.<\/p>\n<p>SSI recipients who are aged 18-64 can get about $762 on average. Only those who get no reductions from Social Security will receive up to $967, up from $943. Remember that the COLA increase made these Federal payments higher than in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Married couples, if both qualify for Supplemental Security Income payments in the United States can get up to $1,450.
