Those RSDI recipients who were born from the 21st through the 31st will be eligible if they are not on SSI.

Social Security has also unveiled the possible average amounts for the February 26 payment. For example, if you are receiving retirement benefits, you can get $1,978. That is the average amount that SSA released in February for January. So, the amounts could even be slightly higher.

Social Security RSDI average amounts: survivors

After learning retirees get $1,978, and RSDI payments are also for survivors. On average, a survivor recipient can get $1,546 as of January 2025. Some SSDI recipients can get up to $4,018, but this is unlikely because a disability can prevent workers from meeting all SSA requirements.

RSDI recipients who get the largest payments are retirees. In fact, if they have worked for 35 years and earned the contribution and benefit base they can get up to $5,108.

After the February 26 payment, Social Security has unveiled the March paydays. For example, if you got RSDI benefits before May 1997, you will get your monthly payment on March 3, 2025. Those on SSI and RSDI will also share the same payday.
