Actually, the main reason why the Social Security Administration<\/strong> is carrying out this measure is that it is a way of “ending radical and wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing”.<\/p>\n

According to SSA<\/strong>, Americans would save 15 million dollars after this change. Hence, terminating RDRC Cooperative Agreements means it brings cost savings for all hardworking Americans in fiscal year 2025.<\/p>\n

But why did Social Security<\/strong> previously enter into RDRC Cooperative Agreements with research centers? Apparently, it included a focus on research addressing DEI in Social Security, retirement, and disability policy.<\/p>\n

Another important change that the Administration<\/strong> has announced is the organizational realignment<\/strong> of the functions provided by its OARO.<\/strong> OARO stands for Office of Analytics, Review, and Oversight.
