Still, statistics need to level out though.<\/p>\n<h2>Who is receiving an IRS direct deposit this week?<\/h2>\n<p>To receive a tax refund this week you must meet several requirements. In the first place, you must have filed an <strong>accurate and complete tax return<\/strong>. Secondly, you must have <strong>filed electronically<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Third, you must have opted for<strong> direct deposit<\/strong> instead of a paper check. For your information, tax refunds usually take about 21 days if all is correct. Here are the possible paydays, so check when the <strong>IRS<\/strong> could deliver your deposit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tax refund payment may arrive on<strong> February 24:<\/strong> if you filed on February 3, 2025<\/li>\n<li>Tax refund payment may arrive on February 25: if you filed on February 4, 2025<\/li>\n<li>Tax refund payment may arrive on February 26: if you filed on February 5, 2025<\/li>\n<li>Tax refund payment may arrive on February 27: if you filed on February 6, 2025<\/li>\n<li>Tax refund payment may arrive on February 28: if you filed on February 7, 2025<\/li>\n<li>Tax refund payment may arrive on <strong>March 1<\/strong>: if you filed on February 8, 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Use the IRS &#8220;Where is my refund?&#8221; tool<\/h2>\n<p>The best and easiest way to track your tax refund is to check the<strong> IRS tool &#8220;Where&#8217;s my refund&#8221;.<\/strong> In this way, you will find out if your tax refund is delayed or the day it will be in your bank account.<\/p>\n<p>For your information, the information will not be on the <strong>IRS tool<\/strong> immediately. In fact, you must wait for at least 24 hours once you have filed your 2024 tax return.<\/p>\n<p>Paper returns can take much longer to be updated.
