For your information, <strong>Social Security\u00a0<\/strong>will only deliver payments on <strong>February 19<\/strong> if you meet the birthday requirements.<\/p>\n<h2>Social Security survivor benefits on Feb. 19<\/h2>\n<p>To get a monthly <strong>survivor benefit payment<\/strong> from the Administration on the 19th, you must have been born from the <strong>11th to the 20th<\/strong>. Hence, if your birthday falls from the 1st to the 10th, you will get your next payment on March 3.<\/p>\n<p>Those whose birth date is from the 21st to the 31st will receive survivor benefits on the 26th. Of course, the remaining <strong>Social Security checks<\/strong> in February will be delivered if you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>have filed for survivor benefits<\/li>\n<li>got approval<\/li>\n<li>were born after the 10th<\/li>\n<li>are not receiving SSI<\/li>\n<li>started getting survivor benefits after May 1997<\/li>\n<li>have not broken SSA rules<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Possible survivor benefits amounts confirmed by Social Security<\/h2>\n<p>The Agency has confirmed that depending on the survivor group you belong to, you may receive a different payment amount. While the <strong>average amount<\/strong> for all <strong>survivor<\/strong> recipients is $1,545.57, it will be <strong>$1,133.60<\/strong> for children of deceased workers.<\/p>\n<p>If you belong to the group &#8220;Nondisabled widow(er)s&#8221;, the average amount will be about $1,832.47. Those who are &#8220;Disabled widow(er)s&#8221; can receive<strong> a Social Security check of about $951.06.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Besides, widowed mothers and fathers can <strong>receive $1,316.11 on average<\/strong>. Although many people do not know about this type of survivor benefits, parents of deceased workers can sometimes qualify. On average, they receive <strong>$1,675.42.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If compared to retirement or SSDI benefits, there can be significant differences. For example, retirees will receive about $1,976 on February 19, while SSDI about $1,580 on average.
