Some may qualify for a larger<strong> check or direct deposit<\/strong>, while others may get a lower amount.<\/p>\n<p>The maximum amount for a single person on<strong> SSI is $697<\/strong>. Only married couples who both qualify for the full amount can receive up to <strong>$1,450<\/strong>.
