However, even if it has been scheduled for this month, you will receive this <strong>check or direct deposit<\/strong> in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Bear in mind that the<strong> Social Security Administration (SSA)<\/strong> cannot issue or schedule <strong>payments<\/strong> on weekends. As a matter of fact, this is not possible because the <strong>Agency<\/strong> always sets payments on business days. That is when SSA offices and financial institutions are open.<\/p>\n<h2>Who will receive the next SSI payment and when?<\/h2>\n<p>The Administration has confirmed that all <strong>SSI<\/strong> recipients who remain eligible will get their monthly payment for February on <strong>January 31, 2025<\/strong>. To be eligible for the <strong>Supplemental Security Income<\/strong> program you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>have limited resources<\/li>\n<li>have limited income<\/li>\n<li>meet one of these conditions:\n<ul>\n<li>have a qualifying <strong>disability<\/strong> (adult or children)<\/li>\n<li>be <strong>blind<\/strong> (adult or children)<\/li>\n<li>be <strong>aged 65<\/strong> or older<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>have filed, received approval and still meet all the conditions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unlike<strong>, Social Security<\/strong> retirement or SSDI payments, this will be the only paydays for all beneficiaries. Therefore, you will not need to wait any longer to get your <strong>payment<\/strong> from the <strong>Federal Government<\/strong>. January 31, 2025, will be the only payday for all recipients.<\/p>\n<h2>SSI payment amounts for the February payment on Jan. 31<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Social Security Administration<\/strong> has confirmed the new<strong> maximum amounts for the SSI<\/strong> program will remain the same throughout 2025. For example, if you are an essential person, you will receive a payment of up to $484, up from $472 in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Another option is to be an individual on <strong>SSI benefits<\/strong>. Therefore, the maximum amount possible will be up to $967, up from $943. Married couples can receive a lot more if they both qualify for these Federal payments.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, an eligible married couple can receive up to <strong>$1,450<\/strong> from the<strong> Supplemental Security Income<\/strong> program. On average, checks and direct deposits can be about $696 as of December 2024.
