If you do not get it on December 13 in <strong>Massachusetts or Maine<\/strong>, you will get them on December 14. So recipients there will not have to wait for long.<\/p>\n<h2>SNAP amounts for families of 4<\/h2>\n<p>Although you can receive up to <strong>$975 if you have no income and resources<\/strong>, many recipients do not get the full amount because they have other benefits or earnings.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, the average payment after the 2025 COLA increase on October 1, 2024, is about <strong>$726 if you are 4 members in your family.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are facing food insecurity and you need money to buy groceries and healthier food, apply for <strong>SNAP benefits<\/strong> as soon as possible.
